LoraShen Berehynia Collection: 'Viburnum' (Kalyna) Hand-Painted Art Plate

Part of the iconic Berehynia series, the 'Viburnum' plate honors one of Ukraine’s most sacred symbols—the Kalyna. In Ukrainian culture, the viburnum represents beauty, resilience, and the bloodline of the nation. This collaboration between LoraShen and Polina Myalkovska reimagines these traditional motifs through a lens of modern luxury, creating a visual hymn to the strength and grace found in Ukrainian femininity.

The plate features a striking stylized figure whose head is transformed into a magnificent crown of deep green leaves and clusters of bright red viburnum berries. The composition is set against a sophisticated dusk-blue gradient that fades into a soft ivory center, creating a sense of depth and atmospheric light. Navy blue accents and golden-toned outlines highlight the tulip-like blooms on the figure’s attire, all finished with a brilliant glaze that emphasizes the relief-like quality of the artisan brushwork.

Each 'Viburnum' plate is a unique work of art, hand-painted by master artists in Kyiv and detailed with real 24-carat gold. Intended to be passed down as a family heirloom, the plate comes complete with a display stand and is housed in a handcrafted wooden presentation box.
